Senior Spotlight: Drake Jovan Hummell

On December 1, 2005, Noel Hummell and Christina Weathers welcomed their son Drake into the world. He joined sibling Ren Hummell. His grandparents are John Jr. and Merry Weathers and Timothy and Ruby Hummell.

Nicknamed Dr. Hummell, he has been a member of the Class of 2024 for five years. Drake who always looks forward to art classes, has participated in art club. When he’s not at school, his hobbies include art, history, animals, and horror.

His proudest moment was helping another student calm down when they were having a breakdown. Drake felt it was an honor to be able to help. His most embarrassing moment was when he was shaking his leg and it accidentally called 911.

“Be kind, you don’t know where kindness will take you,” is his good advice to the underclassmen.

His special people are his mom, dad, and sister because they are always there for him.

Drake’s future plans are to enter the workforce. Tiger Nation wishes Drake all the best as he starts the next chapter of his life.
