Senior Spotlight: Griffin Swanson

This senior was born on May 8, 2006 to Daniel and Sarah Swanson. The grandparents that welcomed him included Bob and Penny Swanson, Ronny and Pam Nelson, and Leroy Coleman.

Griffin, nicknamed Danny, also is brother to Ashlyn and Brecken Swanson.

He has been a member of the Class of 2024 “his whole life.” He has participated in both basketball and football.

When Griffin is not busy at school, he enjoys hanging out with friends, lifting, and playing video games. He was a member of the 2023 Homecoming Court, and was most looking forward to prom. When he remembers his high school years, Griffin’s most special memories will be of playing football with his teammates.

He singled out his mom and dad for special recognition for always believing in him.

When Griffin was asked why his class is special, he echoes many of his classmates when he says, “We’re very close.” His advice to the underclassmen is to stay disciplined.

Griffin’s future plans include attending SCC. Tiger Nation wishes Griffin the best as he leaves NLHS.
