Senior Spotlight: Isabelle Ruby Nye

Isabelle Ruby Nye was a summer baby born July 15, 2006 to Melissa and Jacob Nye. Nicknamed Izzy, she joined siblings Emma Nye and Leighton Lark. Her delighted grandparents are Lynn Nye and Teri Cary.

She is an original member of the Class of 2024. In high school, Izzy participated in golf and volleyball. When she is not busy at school, she likes doing hair.

Izzy’s proudest accomplishment is graduating early. Her most embarrassing moment was falling down the stairs the first week of her freshman year.

She feels the size of her class (27 students) makes them special. Her advice to the underclassmen is “just do your work!”

Izzy singles out her parents, Jacob and Melissa, and teacher Jennifer Campbell, as her people that deserve recognition. Of her parents she says, “I wouldn’t be here without them.” She credits Mrs. Campbell with helping her get through high school. She feels she couldn’t have done it without her.

She is looking forward to the graduation ceremony in May, and her future plans include cosmetology school. Tiger Nation wishes Isabelle the best as she sets out her next adventure.
