May. 2, 2024 12:00 am
Oct. 18, 2005 was a red-letter day in the Holtkamp family. It was the day Kaiden joined the family. The welcoming committee was mom Kala Holtkamp, dad Nick Finley, and grandparents Karen and Steve Malcolm.
Kaiden has been part of the Class of 2024 since kindergarten. When he’s not at school, his main interest is cars. His proudest moment was passing Algebra 2 his junior year. His most embarrassing moment was running over a deer when he thought it was a plastic bag. Ouch!
He picked Malissa Nelson as the person he’d like to single out for special recognition. Kaiden says of her, “She is always there for me and pushed me to succeed.”
Although he is looking forward to graduation, Kaiden feels his class is special. His advice to the underclassmen is to just try, that’s all you can do.
Kaiden’s future plans are to be a mechanic and then transfer to tuner school in Sealy, Texas.
Tiger Nation wishes Kaiden the best as he leaves NLHS!
