Senior Spotlight: Miah Phillips

Miah joined her large family on July 17, 2006. Family members included mom and dad Susan and Tim Phillips and siblings Elizabeth Daniel, Ali Lamont, Cole Phillips, and Jayton Phillips. Her proud grandparents are Glinda Hoskin and Bob and Shirley Sinclair.

Miah is an original member of the Class of 2024. She has participated in track, speech, and theater. She has received 1’s at state speech for ensemble and short film her junior year; she received an overall 1 for ensemble her senior year; and she is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

Miah’s most special moment was becoming an aunt.

She says of her class, “We have a love/hate relationship.” Her advice to underclassmen is to learn how to properly walk to class...it’s not that hard.

Her special people include her parents for supporting her; her siblings for always being there for her; and Holland for buying her coffee.

Miah is looking forward to high school being over. Her future plans include college.
