Owen Neff was born Feb. 8, 2007. His parents are Scott and Kelly Neff and his siblings are Kyle Neff (30), Wesley Neff (20), and Justice LaFyette (27). His delighted grandparents are Robert and Margie Sink.
Owen joined the Class of 2025 in 8th grade and has been a Tiger all four years of high school. He participated in basketball and wrestling. When not at school, Owen likes to stay home and do off-road shenanigans.
Owen’s special memory is when he and his best friend Gavin were fishing. Gavin caught a 15-pound catfish and said, “This is my Mr. Kitty, he lives in cold wata.” Owen got a good laugh from this description.
His most embarrassing moment was when he had to leave class because he was about ready to throw up.
Owen is glad his class is soon going to graduate. His advice to the underclassmen is “don’t be stupid during homecoming because some actions have irreversible consequences.”
His most special person was Gavin Browning. Owen said, “He was my best friend. I chose him because he was the realest person I’ve ever met. He would always make me laugh with his dumb ways of comedy.”
Owen is looking forward to prom and graduation day. His plans for next year are to go to State Tech in Lynn, Missouri to get his heavy equipment license.
Tiger Nation wishes Owen the best as he leaves NLHS and will be rooting for him in whatever he does.
