Senior Spotlight: Reid Bell

Reid was born on April 1, 2006 to Amanda Johnson and Joel Bell. He joined siblings Presleigh, Ainsley, and Kenzie Johnson. His grandparents that welcomed him included Deb Hailey, Gary West, Carol Stancil, and Jeff Bell.

He has been a member of the Class of 2024 for three years. Reid is an NHS member and has made his mark in the performing arts. He also participates in E-Sports.

When he is not busy at school, he enjoys studying zoology, working out, listening to podcasts and audio books, and sleeping.

Reid has earned All-State speech honors. He was the youngest member to act in an SCC play and spoke to Iowa legislators about improving Iowa. His special memory is talking to Tim Looney and becoming friends with him on LinkedIn.

Reid’s advice to the underclassmen is to “do everything for Gotham” as he looks forward to graduation.
