Senior Spotlight: Stevey Marie Wintermeyer

Stevey Marie Wintermeyer was born on May, 9, 2007 to Will and Tyson Wintermeyer. She joined Kaiya Mary Sunshine. Her grandparents are Ed and Kathy Wintermeyer and Steve and Regina Staley.

When asked how long she has been a member of the Class of 2025, she says “forever.”

Nicknamed Steve or Steven, she has been on the golf team all four years of high school. She was on the golf team that finished 2nd at state, and one that finished in 4th place twice. She was also a member of the 2024 Homecoming Court.

In her spare time, Stevey likes to be outside and likes listening to music.

Her most memorable moment was when Colbie left Danville and came here junior year. Her most embarrassing moment was when she broke her club on a tree at her first-ever golf meet.

When asked what’s special about her class, she says, “ We have the ability to be very independent but we come together in times of need.”

Her special person is her mom, Tyson. She says, “She is my best friend, my rock, and my biggest supporter.”

Stevey is most looking forward to golf season and hopefully making it to state for the 4th time.

Her plans next year include going to SCC and studying elementary education.
