Southeast Iowa Senior All-Star Game

Notre Dame High School hosted the 2023 Southeast Iowa Senior All-Star Game on Saturday, March 19. The highly entertaining event featured players from the SEI Superconference and Burlington High School.

The teams were roughly drawn on South Division vs. North Division with Holy Trinity and Burlington playing with the North.

Representing the Tigers were Natalie Burden, Camryn Lair, Rylan Martin, Blaise Porter, and Kade Benjamin. They were all on the “home” teams.

Our own Kade Benjamin was impressive as he took home the gold by winning the dunk contest.

The girls’ “home” team lost to the away team, 58-47. The boys’ “home” team won, 106 to 81.

But it wasn’t about winning or losing…it was about fun, camaraderie, and enjoying competition as a high school standout one last time.

I’m sure all the participants would agree that it was a great “last” time!
