Students make Thanksgiving meal baskets

The Food & Consumer Sciences class makes pumpkin pies which will be placed in the Thanksgiving baskets.

New London Community School District creates Thanksgiving baskets every year for families in need. This year they are doing 50, assembled by students in Food & Consumer Science class.

Concentration on making the filling is shown on the faces of these FCS students. Earlier, turkeys were roasted and faculty helped pick the turkeys. The frozen meat will go in the Thanksgiving baskets to be delivered Tuesday, November 21.
