Taven Jewett
Apr. 13, 2023 12:43 pm, Updated: Apr. 19, 2023 12:15 pm
On June 9, 2004, Taven made his entrance into this world. He was born to Melissa and Chris Jewett and has three siblings: Xenophon, Tierany, and Mahala. His doting grandparents are Bill and Jan Brown and Fred and Pam Jewett.
Taven is an original member of the Class of 2023. He has participated in the performing arts, speech, and band during his high school years. He has been an honor band member and has gone to state speech twice, once for Short Film and once for Improv. When he is not busy with all these activities, one can find Taven tabletop gaming or reading a good book.
Taven is most proud to be finishing his high career. His most embarrassing moments…he explains, “I had to be a dog for an entire play. I had to crawl on my hands and knees and then do the floss from the video game Fortnite.”
When asked what’s special about the Class of 2023, he says, “We are large and in charge and I don’t think we all absolutely hate each other. We have also strayed from our class and made friends with upper and lower classmen.”
Taven has interesting advice to offer as a departing Senior. It boils down to reading the handbook. “I read the entire handbook and apparently, if you have excused absences that take you out of a class on a day that there is a deadline, you are given an amount of days to finish that work equal to how many days you were gone over the deadline plus one.” Good to know!
Taven is looking forward to graduation. About next year, he’s not quite decided, but he will probably go to college.
Tiger Nation wishes Taven the best in whatever he decides!!!
