Tiger Sports Round Up

Volleyball

On Sept. 25, the Tigers played the first round of the SEISC tournament pool play on their home court against Holy Trinity. The Tigers had a tough night, they only managed eight points in the two games they played, (21-2, 21-6).

The second match was against W-MU. The Tigers scored much better (21-11, 21-11).

The ladies also hosted the Danville Bears. The scores were (21-9, 21-9). HTC won the SEISC tournament.

Cross-Country

The cross-country team ran in the Mt. Pleasant meet on Sept. 23. This meet was both JH/HS. Our HS boys finished in 8th place out of nine as a team. Individual results:

· Zayden Lawrence - 87th - 87th place

· Elijah Ingwersen - 22:51 - 109th place

· Bentley Wright - 23:58 - 119th place

· Eli Hinton - 24:00 - 122nd place

· Jayden Wagner - 31:59 - 149th place

HS Girls’ results:

· Irelynn Kelly - 28:39 - 72nd place

· Zoe Long - 36:03 - 90th place

JH Boys/Girls:

· Bentley McFarland - 14:00 - 27th place

· Lillian Francy - 15:25 - 38th place

· Emma Totemeier - 17:34 - 63rd place
