Track season begins

The boys track team had their first foray into the track season at the Central College High School Boys Indoor Meet in Pella on Friday, March 18. The reigning Class 1A state champs tested themselves in this first meet.

Individual results:

•60 Meters - Boden Pickle -14th - 7.44.

•200 Meters - Reean Seberg - 11th - 24.29; Brigham Porter - 28th - 25.29.

•800 Meters - Rylan Martin - 1st - 2:03.29

•1600 Meters - Nick Powell - 33rd - 5:38.76.

•3200 Meters - Cauy Garrett - 13th - 11:39.45.

•4x400 m Relay - Martin, Seberg, Kade Benjamin, Cale Westerbeck- 3rd - 3:49.52.

•Shot Put - Cael Wilka - 33rd - 10.55m; Aiden Borton - 47th - 9.88m.

•High Jump - K Benjamin - 1st - 6-06.00.

•Long Jump - Carter Benjamin - 30th - 4.90m; Leo Gebauer - 37th - 4.74m
