Track season begins for Tiger girls

The New London Lady Tigers participated in their first track meet of the season at Columbus High School on March 20. As a team, they finished 7th with 49 points.
Individual results were as follows:
•100m Dash - Liberty Henderson - 16th - 18.80; Amanda Shane - 17th - 18.82.
•200m Dash - Miah Phillips - 16th - 39.76.
•400m Dash - Kennedy Herrick - 5th - 1:17.28.
•800m Run - Morgan Jones - 2nd - 2:56.16; Brooklyn Curry - 5th - 3:04.04.
•100m Hurdles - Reeves Jacobs - 11th - 21.07.
•4x100m Relay - 6th -1:12.32.
•4x200m Relay - 5th - 2:08.44.
•4x400 Relay - 4th - 5:11.03.
•800 Medley Relay - 7th - 2:52.40.
•4x100m Shuttle Hurdle Relay - 5th - 1:30.35.
•Long Jump - Herrick - 9th - 12-07.25; Phillips - 10th - 11-09.50.
•High Jump - Tysann Gipple - 5th (tie) - 4-02.00.
•Shot Put - Kaitlyn Lee - 8th - 24-19.00; Megan Lee - 12th - 23-04.00; Alex Farley - 14th - 21-02.00.
•Discus - K. Lee - 2nd - 77-00.00; Farley - 5th - 61-06.00; M. Lee - 8th - 57-03.00.
Medalists included Morgan Jones and Brookly Curry (800m); Discus and Shot Put - Kaitlyn Lee; and Kennedy Herrick (400m). Way to go Tigers!
