The utility trustees met for their regular trustee meeting on Nov. 7, 2024 with Trustee Jean Westerbeck absent. They approved the agenda and the consent agenda, and no one addressed the trustees in open forum.

- Approved the Community Service agreement with the New London Holiday Stroll committee.
- Approved the motion to not waive fees for a water leak for the New London Jr. Baseball Association.
- Approved the purchase of a high service pump and VFD.
They next heard from the utility foreman. His report included the following:
- Replaced electric pedestal on Kennedy Street from water main break.
- Repaired water leak on Wilson Street.
- Repaired damaged underground electric on W Madison Street and on the corner of Pine and Madison Streets.
- Repaired two main breaks at the intersection of Adams and Maple Streets.
- Reset pitch boxes on wind turbine.
The meeting adjourned at 2:18 p.m. The next meeting of the Utility Board will be Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the city office.
