Student Council planned a Winter Formal Dance. The idea was to dress up and allow anyone in the high school to dress up, and fight the winter blahs. Unfortunately, the weather was uncooperative and the delays changed the event to a no-stress Valentine’s Day Dance.
Dances at the high school will now be on Friday nights. Cupid Shuffle hours were 8:30-11:30 p.m. Feb. 28. Dress change from formal to comfortable. The colors planned for the Winter Formal are unknown but Valentine’s Day is known for red, pink, white, and sliver.
Student Council members overcame one last obstacle. The New Gym sound system needs work so the venue moved to the high school gym. Beginning at 2 Friday afternoon, council members were busy decorating and changing black and gold to pink and white (with red and silver accents.)
