Wrestling Boosters hold Successful Golf & Bags Tournament

Wrestling Season is approaching. The New London Wrestling Boosters have held their Annual Golf and Bags Tournament. It was a huge success! The day started out with a little drizzle that soon ended. The rest of the day was a mix of overcast and sunny skies. Winners of the Golf competition were:

First Flight, 2nd place Team Kendall, 1st place Team Coach Damon. Championship Flight, 2nd place Team Carter, 1st Place Team Allen.

Kathy Brumwell, Treasurer, noted that every one of the teams donated their winnings back to the Boosters Club.

Individual Awards: Each of these winners received a sleeve of golf balls.

Longest Drive: Jake Nye, men’s, Jackie Housman, women's

Closest to the Pin: Jason Birdsell

Longest putt: Jackson Allen

50/50 Take home: Austin Van Amerongen took home $310.00.

Second Place: Lee Kent and Jared Burden

Third Place: Steve Hahnbaum and Chase Moore

The Booster Club is very grateful and wishes to thank everyone who sponsored a flag, donated moneys or a silent auction item, as well as those who golfed and threw bags.
