Washington County 4-H seeks to honor the group’s senior members by shining the spotlight on each one as they near the end of their 4-H journey. Today the spotlight shines on Grace Puttmann.

4-H Club: Lime Creek Limelights
Projects: Photography, Horse Project, Static Projects, Communications
4-H Activities: Hay bale design and assembly, Dog Project workshops, Horse Project workshops, Photo Mounting Day, and assembling May Day Baskets for the elderly.
Special 4-H memory/highlight: Horse project game nights are always some of the best parts of fair, after spending all day in the mid-July sun.

“4-H has taught me so much about public speaking, communicating with all sorts of people, and taking care of the animals and people around me. It is such an incredible community to get to know, and give you tons of opportunities to learn new things.”

Future plans: I plan to get my masters in psychology and spend my time helping people.
