Washington County 4-H seeks to honor the group’s senior members by shining the spotlight on each one as they near the end of their 4-H journey. Today the spotlight shines on Hunter Robertson.
Hometown: Wellman, Iowa
Parents: Rachel and Jeremy Robertson
School: Mid-Prairie
4-H Club: Lime Creek Livewires
Projects: Photography, bucket bottle calves, mini cow, rabbits, dogs, and goats.
4-H Activities: St. Louis trip, junior camp counselor, county council member, online rabbit support, rabbit and goat mentor.
Special 4-H memory/highlight: 4-H junior camp as a counselor in 2024, having fun with other counselors and the campers.

“Joining 4-H has opened multiple doors for life, in some senses it be by teaching me skills to learn or speaking to people in the community. These skills will make anyone grow as a person and better prepare themselves for the future.”
Other Activities: Football in 9th and 10th grade, FFA, Kirkwood student for 2 years, Employed at Brenneman Pork for 2 years.
Future plans: Residential architecture or Plumbing.
