Washington County 4-H seeks to honor the group’s senior members by shining the spotlight on each one as they near the end of their 4-H journey. Today the spotlight shines on Isabella Lujan.
Hometown: Washington, Iowa
Parents: Katie Lujan
School: Washington High School
4-H Club: Prairie Pride
Projects: Home Improvement and Visual Arts. My favorite was a Christmas tree decoration that went on to the State Fair.
4-H Activities: 4-H Dodgeball, Saturday Kitchen with my club, Fair Flowerbeds, County and State Fair, Share the Fun, and Talent Show.
Special 4-H Memory: A highlight from my time in 4-H would be working Saturday Kitchen as a club and doing a working exhibit at the county fair.
Reflection on 4-H: “I think others should join 4-H because it is a wonderful way to learn so many crucial skills for the world from communication to volunteering. It’s also a great way to make an impact on your community through service projects, the fair, and being a leader in the community in everything you do.”
Future Plans: Attend Creighton and major in nursing with hopes to later become a Physician’s Assistant.
