Reflection on 4-H: “Throughout my years in 4H I learned so many valuable skills that will carry forward throughout my lifetime. Those that held the most importance for me were Leadership in the eyes of the youth that I mentored, Responsibility for the commitments I made to myself, my animals and to others, Communication as a means of fearlessly educating others and Teamwork in accomplishing mutual goals. As a member of 4H, my confidence grew in ways I never expected and I was able to create bonds with others, establish lifelong connections, and was presented with a world full of new opportunities that I might never have known existed.”
Other Activities: National Honor Society, Silver Cord, Hills Bank Youth Salute, WHS Volleyball and Soccer, MVRBC Blood Donor, Kirkwood Community College Ambassador.
Future Plans: I plan to attend the University of Missouri to major in Biological Sciences this fall.
