Washington County 4-H seeks to honor the group’s senior members by shining the spotlight on each one as they near the end of their 4-H journey. Today the spotlight shines on Peighton Ford.

4-H Projects: Pigs, Cattle, Photography, Communications, Sewing, and Food and Nutrition.
4-H Activities: County Council, Limecreek Livewires, Livestock Judging, Bacon Buddies at the County Fair, Saturday Kitchen, Putting up and taking down flags for Memorial Day
Special 4-H memory/highlight: My 4-H highlight was being a 4-H Jr. Camp Counselor for two summers. My memory was winning Reserve Grand Champion Purebred Market Hog with my Chester Barrow in 2023 at the Iowa State Fair.
Other activities: FFA, Family and Career Community Leaders of America, Student Leadership Team, National Honor
