Washington, IOWA — State Rep. Heather Hora (R-Washington) has announced that she will seek re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives, continuing her service to the people of Iowa House District 92.
“It has been an honor to represent the hardworking families, farmers, and small business owners of our district,” said Hora. “Together we have made progress on strengthening Iowa’s economy, protecting parental rights, supporting law enforcement, and defending Iowa values. There is still important work ahead, and I’m running for re-election to keep delivering common sense, conservative leadership at the Capitol.”
Speaker Pat Grassley (R-New Hartford) expressed his support for Hora’s re-election bid.
“Representative Hora is exactly the kind of practical, results-driven voice we need in the Iowa House,” Grassley said. “With her roots in agriculture and rural Iowa, she understands the needs of our communities and brings that perspective to the Statehouse. She has consistently proven herself to be a steady, effective leader in our caucus who knows how to get legislation passed.”
In January, Representative Hora was elected Assistant Majority Leader by her caucus. In her role, she helps manage the party’s agenda and legislative activities. As she seeks another term, Hora is committed to continuing her work to ensure that government remains accountable, communities stay strong, and Iowans’ voices are heard.
