Riverside Casino & Golf Resort supports Ronald McDonald House Charities

Riverside — Elite Casino Resorts, through its Giving Back and Winning Hands programs at Riverside Casino & Golf Resort, proudly supported Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois throughout October and the past year, raising more than $10,500 in financial contributions and donating approximately 150 wish list items to support families with children receiving medical care.

During October, Riverside Casino & Golf Resort partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities as part of its Giving Back promotion, raising $8,000 through guest participation. Guests were invited to donate $20 in cash in exchange for $20 in free slot play, with all cash proceeds benefiting the organization. The partnership culminated in a joint check presentation on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City.

In addition, Riverside team members came together through Elite Casino Resorts’ Winning Hands employee volunteer program, raising more than $2,500 through a series of employee-led fundraising events held throughout the year. These efforts included an art show and silent auction, decorating contests, pickleball and golf tournaments, dessert sales, and a holiday donation drive.

In addition to monetary contributions, team members collected approximately 150 physical items from the Ronald McDonald House wish list, including blankets, toys, hygiene products, laundry detergent, paper goods, and other essential supplies to support families staying at the House.
