Washington County gets 11 more State Fair 4-H exhibit spots

After Iowa 4-H revamped the non-livestock project quota system, Washington County 4-H has earned 11 more spots at the Iowa State Fair to showcase its member’s non-livestock projects.

These edits were made taking into consideration program enrollment and project area numbers of prior years.

Each year the Washington County Fair awards just over 500 special awards/recognition. A variety of individuals, families, or businesses contribute to all of these.

This increase in project spots has created a need for 11 more state fair award plaque sponsors. Sponsorship is $25 per award.
