WASHINGTON — The Washington High School Parent-Teacher Organization is looking for volunteers to run its merchandise store at athletic events.
Washington High School PTO President Janet Conrad said the group needed someone to manage the “Spirit Spot,” ordering products, designing items and pricing the merch, and said the current store managers would help train whoever follows in their footsteps.
“The Spirit Spot is one of our large fundraising projects for our HS PTO and run by volunteers that want to support the PTO in that way,” she said in an email. “The shop provides Washington merchandise at a reasonable price (and supports) our local teachers and students.”
Conrad said the store had been open for two years, with all proceeds sent back to the PTO which uses them to organize other volunteer efforts and equip classrooms in the Washington school district. Those interested in the volunteer opening can contact washingtonhighschoolpto@gmail.com
