WASHINGTON — Members of the Washington Rotary Club held their annual awards dinner June 26, where they celebrated a change and leadership and bid farewell to a treasured member.
Outgoing president Matt Greiner led the evening’s presentation, before passing the Rotarian gavel along to its new president, Amy Schulte.
The dinner also featured annual scholarship and award presentations, and a goodbye for Ann Harris, an established Rotarian planning to leave the Washington community.
The Bill Sitler Rotary Community Service Award was presented to Steve Roth, the Paul Harris Fellowship Award was presented to Ray Poe. Rotary scholarships were presented to Mia Schrock and Lauren Horak. Horak was also presented with the John Prochaska Service Award.
