4-H Club: Crooked Creek
Projects: Photography
4-H Activities: Pancake breakfast, bake sale, and club level activities.
Special 4-H memory/highlight: The highlight of every summer for me is the Washington County Fair. I enjoy spending the week watching my friends showcase their hard work over the year and helping them with their animals. I didn’t join 4-H until I was a junior in high school. My favorite memory is attending my first fair as a member, wearing my 4-H t-shirt proudly, and showcasing my photography projects; earning 2 purple and 4 blue ribbons. If I could give the younger generation a word of advice, I’d tell them to join 4-H young! In my short time, I have made great friends and learned life skills that have made me a better person today.
Other Activities: FFA Officer, Quiz Bowl, Wrestling, Football Film Manager, Band, Orchestra, and Sugar Creek MYF.
Future plans: Attend Iowa State University majoring in Agricultural Studies. In the future, I’d like to return to the family farm in Crawfordsville to become a fifth generation farmer.
