Crawfordsville Lions Club met Feb. 13

Fourteen members were present for the February 13, 2023 meeting of the Crawfordsville Lions Club.
President Finke opened the meeting leading the Pledge of Allegiance and Council Chair Love gave the invocation.
Minutes of the January 23 meeting were approved as read by Secretary Rose. Treasurer Finke gave his report.
Old Business: The upcoming Pancake Supper was discussed and everything seems to be in order. It was suggested liners be purchased for the roaster. Liquid eggs have been purchased in place of eggs. Set-up for this event is Saturday at 9 a.m.
New Business: A thank-you was received from World Indigenous Missions for the club's contribution. A letter was read from the WACO After-Prom committee asking for a donation. A motion was made seconded and carried to contribute to this.
A letter was also passed from the Washington County Sheriff's Office asking for a contribution to the National Child Safety Council. A motion was made, seconded and carried to support this, also.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
Lion Finke entertained us with trivia on "Coffee."
SPAGHETTI SUPPER
The Crawfordsville Community Club is hosting a Spaghetti Supper at the Crawfordsville Fire Station on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. Freewill offering. Drinks and Desserts provided.
CHURCH SOUP SUPPER
The United Church of Crawfordsville will hold a soup supper in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday evening, March 18, 2023 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. Chili, Oyster and Potato Soup will be served. There will be a free-will offering and it will be dine-in or carry-out.
