Tess Judge-Ellis, ARNP, was welcomed as the new Nurse Practitioner at the Winfield Clinic on Oct. 25.

Mendy K. McCreight graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education.

Kendra S. Thompson graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in Nursing.

2000

Arrests were made after an early morning burglary of the Morning Sun Market Oct. 17. Justin Maverick Stafford and Dustin Lee Beamers were charged in the case.

Emily Metzger and Mason Ross were united in marriage on Sept. 20.

1995

Shirley Fowler was honored for her 20 years of service at Sunrise Terrace Care Center.

Kathryn Hudson of Winfield and Matthew Mettenberg of Keokuk were united in marriage Aug. 12, 1995 at the All Saints Church in Keokuk.

1990

Emily Rose was adopted by Dr. and Mrs. Chris Humphreys on Oct. 13.

1985

Mr. and Mrs. Tony Kellogg are the parents of a son, Cole Dale, born Oct. 22, 1985.

Robert H. and Mary E. Stevens and R. David and Karen Stevens will hold a land and machinery auction on Nov. 20.

1980

A meeting of the WMU Board of Education and the AEA #16 Board was held at the Winfield School on Nov. 3 to gain approval of the AEA #16 Board to build a gym and lockers at the Winfield School.

1975

Karen Beth Beard and Harlan Lemke were married Oct. 19, 1975 at the Open Bible Church in Winfield.

Bob Masson lost the end of two fingers on his right hand in a harvest accident.
