Winfield Lions Club holds Christmas party

Despite a very snowy night, the Winfield Lions had their annual Christmas party December 11th with hosts being Alex and Corriene Culver. Sixteen members brought goodies- from sausage and cheese to cookies to broccoli cheese soup to share.
After a time enjoying the food, everyone picked a gift from the collection the hosts had prepared. However, Lion Corriene read “Suing Santa” in which when the word “left” was spoken, the gift was passed to the left. If the word “right” was spoken, the gift was passed to the right. All had fun with this twist of getting a door prize.
The evening ended with sharing favorite Christmas memories, movies and songs.
