Winfield Lions Club sponsors costume contest

The Winfield Lions Club sponsored a costume contest on Halloween night. Thirty-seven entrants were evaluated by the three judges: Donna Montross, Officer Ruen, and Corriene Culver. There were five different categories.

A big thank you to the City of Winfield to provide a registration table and a stage for the participants.

The winners were:

Ages 0-5 years: 1st place Kamron Elmore, 2nd place Remington Gilliam, 3rd place Melia McSorley

Ages 6- 10: 1st place Abby Nichols, 2nd place William Cook, 3rd place Emerie Egbert

Ages 11 - 18: 1st place Mariah Wade, 2nd place Sophia Vega, 3rd place Lauralei Fowler

Adults: 1st place Val Elmore, 2nd place Charlene Wade, 3rd place Emma Welcher

Groups: 1st place the Saarelaine family, 2nd place Emilia Gaither and Briton McSorley, 3rd place Stefanie Watson and Aryanna Watson
