Winfield Lions Club visits Danville

DANVILLE — On Monday Nov. 16, seven members of the Winfield Lions Club were guests of the Danville Lions Club.
The Danville club helps the Winfield club take tickets at Old Threshers and each year the clubs take turns hosting a dinner.
After a delicious meal of pork lion, and an array of appetizers and desserts everyone enjoyed games supplied by the Danville club. They involved our knowledge (and memories) of inventions and other historical events. Even those who weren’t up on their history enjoyed the challenge.
Those attending from Winfield were Ruth and Ronnie Van Auken, Alex and Corriene Culver, Joan Thompson and Larry and Sharon Jennings.
