WMU volleyball outlasts Columbus

Winfield-Mt. Union was able to hang on after winning the opening two sets against Columbus Sept. 5.
The Wolves were winners 25-19 in each of the first two frames. Columbus answered back with a big 25-16 set three victory, but WMU just edge the Wildcats in the fourth 25-22.
For WMU, Audrie Gipple ended with a team-high 13 kills. Aurey Meeker led with 18 assists as well as 20 digs.
Meeker along with Kailey Neil each had three aces.
