Agri-Way has a new office building, and new truck scales are almost done. The grain trucks will go through the new scales, but it won’t be done before this harvest. The new building is 40x80 and will have three offices and conference rooms as well as a retail shop.

Voters approved a tax levy for school repairs/remodeling, and Mrs. Marion (Marlene) Leichty and Laverne Messer were elected to the board of directors.

The Wayland fire department was called to a tractor fire at 7:15 a.m. in front of Ronnie Roth’s home as workers were preparing to resurface the city streets.
