Ray Wyse has been transferred to ADM Eureport in Rotterdam, the Netherlands as a grain merchandiser for Archer, Daniels, Midlands.

John Wayger, 101, passed away Oct. 13 at the Henry County Health Center. He was Wayland’s oldest resident.

Kim Stutzman, sophomore, a member of the 1990 Coe College Women’s Volleyball Team in Cedar Rapids.

Kurt and Brenda Krabill are the parents of Tanner Kane, born Oct. 4.

Payne’s Gun Shop in Olds was robbed of some $11,000 according to authorities. Also taken were 30 handguns, five shotguns, four rifles, and semiautomatic rifles.

Charles (Chuck) Dietz, age 27, was killed in Colorado when his car plunged off a mountain road.

Jerry Imhoff and Helen Kathryn Stumbo were married Oct. 8.

The 126-year-old dam on the Skunk River at Oakland Mills is the center of controversy. Some want it taken down; others want it preserved.
