Extensive damage was done to a county bridge north of Wayland on W-55 when a lowboy tractor driven by Dallas W. Leichty, and hauling a bulldozer, struck the bridge approach and supports with its blade.

Blanche and Allen Clark were honored with an open house for their 50th anniversary.

Melissa Gayle Miller and Alan Ray Fear were united in marriage Sept. 28.

Susan Lynn Reneger and Daniel Lynn Widmer were married Oct. 12 at Bethel.

Leslie Jean Richard and Keith Christian Reschly were married Sept. 7 in Ames.
