There was a break-in at Dean’s Super Valu. Thieves took 18 canned hams, 70 cartons of cigarettes and cigars, candy, clothes, and even made meat and cheese sandwiches while there.

Rev. James A. Loder, age 46, and daughter Jeri Lynn Loder, age 17, were killed in an accident in Missouri on Feb. 11.
