Co-curricular activities: Football, bowling, track, and baseball. I also enjoy silver cord, choir, and peer helpers. I am also part of the Washington High Bass Club.

Community activities: I attempt silver cord hours wherever and whenever I can. I referee for the YMCA of Washington at any event needed and I’ve also coached a little. I’ve also done Camp Reece at Lake Darling during the summer.

Future plans and goals: I plan to attend William Penn University and major in environmental studies with possibly minoring in criminal justice.

How will your high school experiences help you in the coming years? My high school experiences will help me by reminding me that I must work hard in order to achieve anything you want and knowing that a simple task may lead you to many future endeavors.

Fondest memory of high school: My fondest high school memory was that every day I came to school and saw teachers who cared and had just the best attitudes anyone could ever have.

Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you and why? I think honestly even though I haven’t had some teachers I think they’ve all an impact on me in some way. They’ve risked their own health to give me and my fellow students a chance to learn something new every day.

Who is your role model and how did they influence you? I would say my role models are my mom and dad. Equally they have tested me to be the person I am today. If it wasn’t for them, I would not be in the place I am today. If it wasn’t for the hard times and the hard struggles that they guided me through the world I live today wouldn’t be close to what it is really is.

What is special about your high school? Something special I’d say about this high school is all the memories I’ve made throughout my four years.

If you go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself? I would tell myself get all your required classes out of the way and then make your school years super fun and enjoyable.
