Henry County Fair set to have Kid’s Day Saturday, July 17

MT. PLEASANT — Want to have fun in the sun this summer. The Henry County Fair is holding a free kid’s day, Saturday, July 17.

All are encouraged to come and join in the activities being held in McMillian park.

With prince and princess contests being held at 11:30 a.m. that Saturday right before the Kid’s Day that is being sponsored by Two River’s Bank and Trust.

The Prince and Princess contest is for ages 5 to 7, the non-formal event will be decided by a random draw of names.

From noon to 4 p.m. the fair will be holding activities such as pony rides by Windy Acres Stables, virtual adventure studios, educational trailers, an obstacle course by Great River Health and Fitness, a firetruck tour by Mt. Pleasant Fire Department, healthy snacks by Henry County Public Health, bounce house obstacle course, face art by Brandi, cookie decorating by Nana Pam’s, and more.
