How will your high school experiences help you in the coming years? By involving myself in high school I feel that I am ready for my college career. Through all of these organizations I have learned a large amount of communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Fondest memory of high school: My favorite high school memory is how close our class got as a whole. Throughout our junior and senior year, our class found a way to put aside any differences we may of had and honestly all became best friends.
Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you and why? Gina Trower has had the biggest impact on me because of her dedication to students. Mrs. Trower has pushed me to do things I would never have seen myself doing.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you? My parents are my role models because they have pushed me to be the person I am today. They are the ones paying for all of my trips, competitions, and education
What is special about your high school? Coming from a small school allows you to make lifelong connections and friendships. At Highland each teacher knows every student, because of that connection many students are able to excel.
If you go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself? Not only would I tell myself, but I would tell freshmen now, to get involved. I did not like coming to school when I was a freshman, but I soon involved myself in organizations like FFA and it made me want to come to school.
