How will your high school experiences help you in the coming years?: Being able to tak college courses as a junior and senior was an amazing experience as a high schooler. It help me feel more confident and prepared for college and what the workload of a college student will be like.
Fondest memory of high school: Dressing up with Bailey Page for homecoming week senior year and pre-volleyball games with Zoe Best, junior year.
Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you and why?: Art teacher, Mr. Jones has helped me grow as a person and artist. He is a great teacher and has built a great environment in his classroom.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you?: My grandpa Kevin Ranft. My grandpa has always been an amazing role model and genuinely good person to everyone. I have always looked up to my grandpa and love spending time with him. He is kind to everyone and has such a warm and comforting personality. I strive to be more like my grandpa Kevin.
What is special about your high school?: Living in a small community has presented the advantage of being able to find help anywhere. Being close and knowing everyone around you makes it easier to ask for help.
If you go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself?: Enjoy being a freshman, do not rush through it. Stay ahead of the work though, don’t get behind. It’s important to enjoy the time while being an involved student.
