How will your high school experiences help you in the coming years? My high school experiences will remind me that I have my limits and that I am strong and becoming stronger.
Fondest memory of high school: Getting work done yet still managing to goof off with some of my closest friends in Mrs. Hays’ class sophomore year.
Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you and why? Profe Marshall and Mrs. Hays have had the biggest impact on me. With Profe Marshall, she helped me learn some of a new language and always found different ways to teach for better class understanding. Mrs. Hays, on the other hand, has encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone to grow as a person. I thank them both for what they’ve done for me these past couple years.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you? My role model, though it’s cliche, is my mom. She’s been a really good example for me all these years in learning what’s important, helping me with my goals, and supporting me in my most difficult moments. Without her, I wouldn’t be even a quarter of who I am today.
What is special about your high school? What I find special about my high school is the variety of personalities we have for such a small population.
If you go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself? I’d go back and say “enjoy the peace while it lasts.”
