How will your high school experiences help you in the coming years? The music program at Mid-Prairie has given me so many opportunities to grow and showcase my talents around the state that have helped with college applications and scholarships. The academic programs taught by our amazing teachers have given me a strong base to continue to grow throughout my life.

Fondest memory of high school: All-state choir and speech, jazz contests, getting to be a drum major, Madrigal dinners, and getting selected for Homecoming Queen are just some of the amazing moments I’ve had at Mid-Prairie.

Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you and why? Mrs. McClellen: Too many things to count, she’s amazing. Mr. Kunz: Always pushing me to be better, and holding me to high standards. Mrs. Cavanagh: Helping throughout all my high school career. Mrs. Jones: Inspiring me to learn every day

Who is your role model and how did they influence you? My parents because they taught me to always love even when it’s hard and gave me the opportunity to be anyone I want to be. They showed me that no matter your race, gender, sexuality, or religion that everyone deserves love.

What is special about your high school? The efforts that our teachers put in to make students not only better musicians, athletes, or scholars, but better people.

If you go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself? Enjoy every moment, cause it really does go by too fast.
