Static, Clothing & Share the Fun

MT. PLEASANT — All of the 4-H members mentioned are going to the State Fair with their exhibits.
Educational Presentations: Morgan Meyer (Circulatory System), Cole Meyer (Pigs), Deedra Graber (Sheep), Caden Mullin (Drums), and Kaylen Hunold (Performance Enhancing Drugs), and receiving a gold award was Jacob Graber (Tree Tapping).
Going to the State Fair for Share the Fun is Morgan and Cole Meyer with their Ukulele Duet to "Better Together" and the New London Lassies and Lads with their Fashion of the Decades Fashion show.
Also going to the State Fair for their working exhibit was Ella and Isabel Kann, with "How do you Fair?" Trivia and Kalyana Durr, Jolynn Martin, and Maison Nelson with their "ID Your Fingerprints."
Clothing Awards
The $15 Challenge is a category in which a 4-H member purchases their outfit from a resale shop, consignment store or garage sale for under $15. Participants must use their savvy techniques to find the perfect outfit!

Fashion Revue:
Fashion Revue is our next category in which a 4-H member must construct their outfit by use of sewing, knitting, or crocheting. Members must present a garment consisting of one to three pieces.

Clothing Selection:
Clothing Selection is the collection and purchase of an outfit by a 4-H member from any source. Clothing articles may be purchased from clothing stores, consignment shops, and used clothing stores. This clothing area encourages youth to purchase clothing items with a goal in mind for price and cost comparisons, alternative pieces, and evaluating fit and construction.
