Future plans and goals: My future plans are to attend Iowa State University to pursue a degree in animal science. With this degree I would like to get a job in the animal nutrition field and spend my professional career traveling across the state of Iowa educating farmers on ways to make their livestock operations more efficient.

How will your high school experiences help you in the coming years?: During high school I have had the opportunity to hold many leadership positions, all of which will help me become successful in my future career.

Fondest memory of high school: My fondest memory of high school is participating in sporting events with my closest friends and creating lifelong memories.

Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you and why?: Mr.Keltner has had the biggest impact on me. Mr. Keltner has taught me in class, but he has also been my basketball coach. Keltner always holds me to the highest standard, and helps push me past my limits both on and off the court.

Who is your role model and how did they influence you?: Both of my parents are my role models. They have showed me that with hard work and determination, you can accomplish anything that you set your mind to.

What is special about your high school?: Something that is special about my high school is the diverse community that we have. Everyone comes from different backgrounds and it is so interesting to see the differences from one person to the next.

If you go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself?: I would tell myself to take chances. We will never relive these days again, so take full advantage of the opportunities that are provided to you while you are still young.
