10U baseball team wins state
MANCHESTER ? The Mt. Pleasant 10U All-Star Team won the Cal Ripken State Tournament this past weekend in Manchester.
The team went 4-0 on the weekend, including a 9-3 win over Big Bend in the finals.
With the win, the team earned the right to represent Iowa at the regional tournament in Bemidji, Minn., from July 25-31; however, they have decided not to attend the tournament due to the cost of the trip. Instead, ...

MANCHESTER ? The Mt. Pleasant 10U All-Star Team won the Cal Ripken State Tournament this past weekend in Manchester.
The team went 4-0 on the weekend, including a 9-3 win over Big Bend in the finals.
With the win, the team earned the right to represent Iowa at the regional tournament in Bemidji, Minn., from July 25-31; however, they have decided not to attend the tournament due to the cost of the trip. Instead, the team will be playing at a tournament in Donnellson on July 21.
