13 area wrestlers ranked in latest Predicament.com poll

Predicament.com released its second rankings of Iowa?s individual high school wrestlers for Classes 2A and 1A Thursday, Dec. 15, and several area wrestlers appear on the lists.

Sophomore Walker Ikerd from Washington is ranked seventh and Columbus? Jared Kadel comes in ninth in Class 2A at 106 pounds. Washington?s Kyle Anderson is ranked sixth in Class 2A at 126 pounds.

Mid-Prairie?s Duncan McCain comes in ninth place at 132 pounds. Drew Hazelett from Washington is ranked sixth at 145 pounds in Class 2A while Trey Van Weelden comes in seventh at 152 pounds.

Tristin Westphal-Edwards took sixth at 160 pounds. Columbus? Tucker Morrison at 170 pounds was ranked third. Visouth Peterschmidt from Mid-Prairie came in fourth and Washington?s Karlton Skubal came in sixth at 195 pounds.

For Class 1A, Kaleb Reeves from Sigourney-Keota came in second at 195 pounds while Noah Bender from Sigourney-Keota had a ranking of seventh at 220 pounds in Class 1A. WACO?s Cody Crawford came in sixth in the heavyweight division of Class 1A.
