3A-5 district unbeaten

Washington's victory over Bettendorf was just one of five for the Class 3A District 5 teams. None of the six lost.

Burlington did not play but Fairfield, Mt. Pleasant, Fort Madison and Keokuk all posted victories.

Of the 13 teams in the Union coverage area, 12 played Friday and only three lost. Those three were all close games.
