4 area girls seasons end

Four area girls high school basketball seasons ended last week in postseason play.
West Liberty 66, Mid-Prairie 39
The Golden Hawks lost Saturday's Class 3A Region 6 game at West Liberty.
Maddie Nonnenmann had 10 points for the Golden Hawks while Phelan Hostetler had nine. Myah Lugar contributed six rebounds, three assists, three steals and two points. Amara Jones had five points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal. Georgia Nisly and Colby Rourke put in four points apiece. Rourke had two blocks.
Mid-Prairie ends its season at 7-15.
Wilton 66, Columbus 26
The Wildcats season ended Saturday in Class 2A Region 6 game.
Columbus had a record of 1-20 this year.
Sigourney 64, Keota 13
The Eagles season ended with a 2-18 record Thursday in a Class 1A Region 5 game.
Lone Tree 59, Hillcrest 16
The Ravens closed the year with a 2-20 record with a loss at Lone Tree in a Class 1A Region 4 game Thursday.
Esther Hughes led Hillcrest with 9 points.
